Welcome to the Drifters Car Club of Southern California website. Our membership consists of both city and non-city residents who all enjoy a unique passion for classic automobiles. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join our club. We meet every Saturday at Richies Diner in Murrieta California...located on Murrieta Hot Springs Road between the 15 and 215 freeways. We start between 7:00am and 7:30am. On nice days most of the time we bring our rods and they have nice parking for us to park together. Come join us anytime.

The Drifters Car Club of Southern California has a long history of community involvement that runs back through the founding of the club. The club remains engaged in the communities of Southern California…especially the cities of Temecula and Murrieta.

The club got its start through the dedication of Pat Vesey. Pat grew up in the San Fernando Valley, honing a love of cars and the automobile lifestyle. For Pat, car clubs were just cool!

That love of cars and desire to be part of a cool car club pushed Pat toward the creation of the Drifters Car Club of Southern California. The clubs first car show back in 1997 was so successful that the City of Temecula wanted to continue the event.

Pat then met Ray Waite and formed the P&R foundation as a non-profit foundation and sponsor of the bi-annual Temecula Rod Run. The target of the foundation was and continues to be the generation of funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts of America, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The Drifters Car Club supplies non-salaried volunteers to run nearly everything at the Temecula Rod Run events and supports other events in Southern California with attendance and many times volunteers.

The club remains focused on cars, car culture and promoting the value of the hobby to young and old alike. Cars and car clubs allow the Drifters to share their love of the automobile with others, and support good causes in the community.

The Drifters of Southern California invite you to our weekly meeting on Saturday morning or to attend one of the many car shows around Southern California.
